I chose this name because I believe true support honors the whole person especially during pregnancy birth, postpartum, fertility processes, and infant and pregnancy loss: Spirit (Solana), Mind (Heart), and Body (Hands). Solana brings the warmth and light needed for the spirit during vulnerable transitions. The Heart represents the emotional care and mindset needed to navigate these moments. And my Hands are here to provide the physical comfort, movement, and practical help your body needs. Nacido del corazón para servir al tuyo Born from the heart to serve yours. More about what means Solana to me: Solana meaning as a word is: A very sunny place / Un lugar muy soleado . In geography it refers to the slope of a mountain that receives the most solar radiation, and in architecture to a place in a house facing south / orientado al sur , which receives more sunlight because it is designed specifically to take advantage of the light and heat of the sun / diseñado específicamente para aprovechar la luz y el calor del sol.
For me the south connects with the south of our bodies where the birth canal is, where the energy is concentrated, where the most intense emotions are felt, and where life is gestated.
The heat, the light, and the sun with life.
Solana represents the spirit, Heart represents the mind, and Hands represents the body of what I am building little by little with this born from the heart to serve yours.
